Problems With Whey Protein
Whey was originally discarded as a by-product in the production
of cheese until it was found to contain various growth and immune
factors, plus the whole spectrum of amino acids. These growth and
immune factors are identical to the ones produced in our body and

in small quantities in other milk derivatives such as colostrum.
But to be effective they must be seperated and isolated from the
milk product. If you take a look back in history with processing
whey, everything began with whey protein powder, followed by whey

refined and we are now at the stage where we can make a high quality
product with very low fat and lactose. However this is an expensive
process and most companies use a lesser processed whey because it's

reputable companies use, seems to be the perfect answer for recovery

promoted that whey protein isolate contains all these fantastic

Using advanced 'NANO' filtration technology, a membrane based nanoscale
proteolytic reactor enabling protein digestion, peptide separation
and protein identification using mass spectrometry, this technique
uses ultra-sonic vibrations during one of the many filtering processes
to isolate the different individual peptides containing the growth
and immune factors according to their response to certain sonic
levels. This process gently isolates the different factors completely
with no molecular damage to the peptide's fragile structure. This
allows us to tailor the protein's peptide profile to yeild functional
properties not available in other whey protein products. By emphasizing
the 'bio-active' whey peptides, HP-100 exhibits unique properties
geared towards increasing muscle growth and recovery.
What
Is Hydrolyzed Protein?
Hydrolyzed Protein is protein that has under gone an enzyme process
much like that which happens in your digestive system. Specific
enzymes have ‘predigested’ the protein allowing for faster transport
through your digestive system, into your body. Within your digestive
system, because the enzyme process is not controlled, there is no
way of controlling the enzymes to stop breaking down the protein
further when a specific growth factor, immune factor or bio-active
peptide has been reached. In HP-100's case, the hydrolyzation process
is all controlled. The enzymes are controlled to cleave the protein
peptides at a precise point to isolate the growth factors, immune
factors and bio-active peptides in a pre-digested form. This allows
for direct utilisation into our body. With there being different
levels of Hydrolyzation, the higher the level, the more growth factors,
immune factors and small peptides will be isolated within the protein,
supplying more 'bio-active' peptides which will give you better
results. However, if you go too high with the degree of hydrolyzation
(dh), the 'bio-active' peptides will be broken down and lost. An
ideal degree of hydrolyzation is a value between 15-25%, to separate
and isolate the 'bio-active' peptides within the protein. NANO Technology
then comes into play to engineer the protein to only contain those
'bio-active' proteins plus a high degree of BCAA's (Branch Chain
Amino Acids).
What Does 100% Hydrolyzed
Mean?
The phrase '100% Hydrolyzed' means that the tub of protein only
contains hydrolyzed protein and there are no added different proteins
such as amino acids or non hydrolyzed protein. This does not relate
to the Degree of Hydrolyzation (dh), which is a measurement of the
processing the protein has gone through. 50% Hydrolyzed Whey Protein
would mean that half of the protein is hydrolyzed and the other
half is not.
How Does HP-100 Deliver
Serious Muscle Mass?
After training, restoration of blood glucose and energy is the no.1 priority
of our physiology. Unless the right material is present, the body
will mobilise and sacrifice muscle protein (amino acids) in an attempt
to restore energy levels. This then effects muscle recovery and
growth. To provide the optimal environment for recuperation and
growth we must supply a high concentration of amino acids and growth
factors immediately after training to stimulate protein synthesis.
The problem is most proteins are too slow to enter muscle cells
straight after training because it has to be digested and growth
factors are destroyed. HP-100 however overcomes this problem, the
only protein to do so. Because HP-100 was designed using advanced
'NANO' technology and controlled hydrolysis techniques, it provides
intact ‘digested’ growth and immune factors with an array of amino
acids, including high levels of BCAA's, ready for immediate absorption.

How to Judge a Good
Quality Protein
A lot of people judge a protein by the amount of amino acids it
has per serving. This is true in regards to comparing the amount
of protein in the product against another but it is not related
to the performance of the product or the amount of ‘bio-active’
peptides in the protein. It’s the ‘bio-active’ peptides that have
the specific functions within our body. The amino acids are the
building blocks for those peptides. How those amino acids are arranged
determine what peptides are formed. There are millions of combinations
for the peptides, ones that are used by the body, ones that are
not used and ones that are dangerous and toxic. It is the ones that
are used in the body that we should be interested in. Unless these
are in an isolated form then the possibility of them being absorbed
intact is very remote as discussed earlier. Therefore, it is the
